The painting's abstracted imagery of birds in flight is an evolution of my earlier Murmuration series. However, as the piece developed, its focus shifted from purely visual forms of movement to an exploration of sound and its spatial representation. The positioning of each bird is intentional, corresponding to the musical structure of the song, visually embodying the relationship between melody, harmony, and movement.

This exploration of sound as a visual form eventually led to the creation of my Voicemail Paintings, where I represent the sound waves of spoken language. Through this piece, I aim to explore the intersection of movement and music, inviting viewers to experience both visually and emotionally the rhythm and flow of sound as it transitions into something entirely new.
