Archival Prints and Giclées
Archival Prints are museum quality, fine art reproductions. This term means that the artwork is permanent, durable (or chemically stable) and can therefore safely be used for preservation purposes. The artwork will not fade or deteriorate over time. Archival prints are created using Epson 9800 ultra-high-resolution printers and printed on acid-free, archival Hahnemühle paper.
Giclée (pronounced zhee-CLAY) canvas reproductions look just like the original painting. From the French word "to squirt", the giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than lithography and other traditional methods. The giclées are fade resistant and printed on canvas using Epson 9800 ultra-high-resolution printers. The print is then professionally stretched onto one inch thick, durable stretcher bars. The artwork is ready to hang, hardware included.
