It’s been a strange year indeed. While I have enjoyed the solitude and stillness of the quarantine, I deeply miss art openings amongst other things. I feel very lucky that I have been able to access my studio and my day to day routine has not drastically changed.

I am still applying to juried shows across the country and was thrilled to be accepted into the small works - BIG TALENT show last month at Las Lagunas Gallery in Laguna Beach and recently “WORD” at ShockBoxx Gallery in Hermosa Beach, the latter having over 700 entries. Two of text/gold leaf mirror paintings were accepted: HELL NO and smile (pink) The group opens August 1 at 6PM both online and soft opening respecting social distancing guidelines and masks required.

Open Studios looks like it will be a hybrid event this year of virtual and in person events on September 26th until Sunday, September 27th. All events will respect social distancing guidelines and attendees are required to wear a mask.
